Documentation

Short on purpose. $TEST doesn't need much documentation — which is itself part of the test: this page's layout matters more than its word count.

What $TEST is

$TEST is a token launched through pons v1, a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain (an Ethereum layer-2). It is a permanent, public test environment run by one operator: the dev known as Trencher. It is not a product, not an investment thesis, and not pretending to be either.

Why it exists

Because every procedure — launching on a curve, applying to a DEX listing site, wiring a website to on-chain data — goes better the second time. $TEST absorbs Trencher's first time. Mistakes made here are the deliverable.

How a pons v1 launch works

From the pons docs: creating a launch deploys the token and its Uniswap V3 trading pool in a single transaction, and the pool's liquidity is locked automatically. Supply is fixed at one billion tokens. Every token trades against WETH in its own pool from the first block — there is no bonding curve and no migration.

A launch "graduates" once the WETH paired in the pool reaches the protocol threshold, currently 4.2 ETH. Graduation is a milestone, not a mechanism: trading continues in the same pool, and nothing moves.

[ an architecture diagram would go here. there is no architecture. ]

Numbers above come from the pons docs at the time of writing. If the docs and the deployed contracts ever disagree, the contracts win.

What gets tested here

  • Launch mechanics on pons v1, end to end.
  • Listing and aggregator applications, and what they actually require.
  • Integrations between a website and on-chain data.
  • This site itself — its structure is a dress rehearsal for a later project by the same dev.

Results, as they happen, get written down on the Ledger.
